Mike launched MOIRE Architects in 2021whilst continuing his role as Director of Architecture at MoreySmith London. He holds a MArch in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSci in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from the Bartlett in London. Before joining MoreySmith in 2016, Mike forged a successful career working with Farrells, HOK and Aecom in London.

His experience in leading multidisciplinary teams on high value projects in tandem with his rigorous attention to detail when providing strategic advice to developers, project managers and end users on building acquisition and due diligence, including client monitoring roles, led to Mike being a recognised industry leader in the hospitality, commercial and residential markets.

He utilises his experience to apply a balanced view between a design-led approach and the financial constraints of the practice in his multi-faceted management role at MOIRE.

Mike is a member of the British Council of Offices, Architects Declare, One Planet Living and a visiting critic at several schools of architecture in the United Kingdom.
